Feeling moody today. A trip I've been planning for, to Spain, has just fallen through. So no holiday next month. To console myself and to get over myself disappointment, I indulged in some creative therapy. Built up through a series of rectangle blocks, this card's geometric structure is gently broken up by the curves of a map print. It's also interesting working out how to balance two similarly sized rectangles on one card. Now I'm going to make up a pitcher of Sangria and chill out.

Feeling your pain, Sandy......I would have done a RED & BLACK page with SPLOTCHES SLASHED all over it...but probably your Sangria chillin' idea is MUCH better!!! Sorta SAD card...but of course, beautifully executed:):)

Oh what a shame about the trip! But look on the bright side - you got to make a stunning card and at least you still drank the sangria!

So sorry to hear you weren't able to make it to Spain Sandy. Hopefully you get to go at a later stage, bet you enjoyed your sangria though ;-) Love your card, it's a wonderful design!
