Pops of Colour

This month all the Citrus Twist designers are showcasing embellishments on their projects as Trina has packed the January kits with fun and colourful chipboards, tags, stickers, buttons and trims. I'm starting with this card which has a funny backstory.

I love the bold ampersand logogram on this black and white journal card. It reminds me of a go-kart racing track so I scatter embellishments like signposts along the route. An arrow marks the starting point and chipboard "Hi", embellished with foliage, marks the destination.

If you don't like lumpy cards, you can easily reduce the bulk by peeling off the compressed cardboard layers. That way you get the lovely design and shape while adding minimal thickness to your card.
