Fly Me to the Moon

For CHA Winter 2012, all the Ruby Rock-It designers made banners to decorate a gazebo at the booth. This was mine using the Paper Boy collection which I never got round to sharing on my blog.

Before it was packed up and shipped out, I tied it to one of the huge flame-of-the-forest trees in my neighbourhood and captured these photos. Each kraft-based pennant is a different size and design. You can find chipboards, letter stickers, felties, border trims and ribbons in the close-up shots

Staging the project outside was a bit a more work, from figuring out the angle of the light to fielding questions about it from passer-bys but I'm glad I made the effort because it really showed off the banner nicely.

I'll have another Ruby Rock-It project for you later this week : a Nostalgia mini-book. In the meantime, Artfull Crafts is putting Ruby Rock-It centre stage this month which means lots of chances to win some scrappy supplies if you head over to their blog.

Linking up to these parties.

Ruby Rock-It Supplies : Paper Boy (PB89 Cards and Envelops, PBY10 Collage, PBY19 Border Stickers, PBY58 Nostaglia, PBY65 Die-Cut, PBY72 Cardstock Stickers, PBY73 Tokens, PBY87 Felt Icons, PBY89 Ribbon, PBY97 Chipboard Accent) Others : eyelets, twine

I loved your wedding favor ideas in the latest issue of Scrap n' Art (I have a layout published in that issue, too), so I popped over to your blog to check it out. I'm a follower now. :)

This banner is just the cutest! I love the way you combined all these little bits and pieces.
